Pentax recently announced the Pentax AP50 - Special 50th Anniversary SLR Camera. The AP50 is tribute to their legendary film camera, which debuted in 1975. The AP50 hence is modern camera in a traditional packaging.

The camera includes digital hardware, two LCDs, keypad, and mode selector. Like the film camera, the AP50 includes pyramid housing for the pentaprism viewfinder for accuracy. The AP50 for now will not see production.
