Pentax has recently announced the launch of lightweight, water and impact resistant binocular DCF LV 9x28 offering a clear view. This high-end roof-prism binocular offers a very advanced optical system.

While the light transmission is improved by applying multi-coat on the lens and prism surface, the resolution and contrast are enhanced by applying phase correction coating on the reflective surface of prism. The reflective surface also has super-reflection coating so that the reflectivity is increased. The rigid and lightweight body of DCF LV 9x28 Binocular is made up of fiber reinforced polycarbonate. A strong grip is made with full rubber coating. The Binoculars can be used in wet conditions or 3.3 feet under water. The water does not get into the body as it is fully-sealed filled up with nitrogen.

Fine adjustments can be done by four stop helicoid eyepiece rings, making it convenient to people wearing eyeglasses also. The binocular also has rain shielded eyepiece caps preventing it from water and dust.
