Philips 6FF3FPB Digital Photo Frame Review–Surprising Value

Digital photo frames are funny things to review–they are perhaps the only products where how they look is just about as important as how they work.  But in the case of the Philips 6FF3FPB, you’ll find that both areas are well served.

The Philips 6FF3FPB is a 5.6 inch LCD digital photo frame with a USB drive port, support for a variety of memory cards including miniSD, Memory Stick, MultiMediaCard and Secure Digital.  It offers a clock and calendar display, a slideshow system, a collage effect (where multiple photos are displayed in one video) and the exclusive Philips RadiantColor system that lets small photos be displayed much larger than intended without significant distortion.

It’s a small frame, admittedly, but it looks nice and does a great job of showing off the photos.  It has a glossy finish that catches the eye easily and offers plenty of possibilities for display modes.

And when you consider that a new one retails for fifty six bucks (if you’re up for it you can even buy it used on Amazon for thirty five), you definitely could do much, much worse than this tiny but powerful Philips 6FF3FPB.
