Philips CX50 CompactXtreme Portable Ultrasound Released

Imaging in the medical sector is likewise important. We normally find this in the Radiology departments where the usual X-Rays and Ultrasounds are done that help in the overall evaluation of doctors or physicians. Among the notable brands that have their hands in the imaging systems for medical institutions include Siemens and Philips.

Now, Philips redefines the meaning of portability as it launches the Philips CX50 CompactXtreme portable ultrasound system which aims to improve on the current imaging support that hospital and medical groups rely on. Rather than direct patients to head towards the Radiology section, this new device can simply do it from anywhere which should be a pretty big help for the ones who have problems in mobility.

The CX50 CompactXtreme incorporates features migrated from the Philips iE33 and iU22 premium cart-based systems. PureWave transducers have been clinically proven to improve image quality across the patient population, especially on technically-difficult patients. Already, millions of exams have benefited from PureWave technology.

This also helps a lot for admitted patients who have problems moving around the hospital setting. At least now, physicians can get a better and accurate way of diagnosing what is really the problem with their patients.
