Philips SPF3007 Digital Photo Frame Review–Strange Dichotomy
After just recently tackling a Philips photo frame–the oddly-named 6FF3FPB–I’m surprised by this newer model, the Philips SPF3007.
The Philips SPF3007 is a seven inch digital photo frame that boasts storage space for a thousand photos (otherwise known as a hundred and twenty eight meg of internal memory–I’m not sure how they got exactly one thousand photos out of that number as that would be pretty dependent on file size). It also offers a clock and calendar, auto rotate, several supported memory card formats and a USB flash drive capability, and for some reason, twelve World Heritage Traveler photos preloaded onto the frame.
Make no mistake, the frame looks nice, even if it comes with some strange options and a wildly certain amount of photo storage. The viewing area, at seven inches, looks slightly smaller than the 6FF3FPB we talked about earlier.
But considering that this thing’s carrying enough storage space for most of your family albums (even the most shutter-happy parent would have a tough time snapping a thousand pics of Junior in action) and is easily expandable, plus only costs fifty seven bucks out at Walmart, you definitely could do a whole lot worse than the Philips SPF3007.
