Philips SPF3407 Digital Photo Frame Review–A Quality Piece

I saw a Philips digital photo frame not so long ago, and as is generally the case with Philips gear–especially their photo frames–I was pretty well impressed with it.  The specific model I saw this time was the Philips SPF3407, and you’ll likely be as impressed as I was by its sheer quality.

The Philips SPF3407 is a seven inch digital photo frame with a hundred and twenty eight megs of onboard memory, USB flash drive capability, support for a wide array of memory cards including Memory Stick and SD, a random slideshow setting, clock and calendar features, and an expected lifetime of twenty thousand hours before reaching fifty percent brightness.

Twenty thousand hours is a long time, folks–they’re talking about just over eight hundred and thirty days of nonstop operation.  That’s almost two and a quarter years.  And you won’t mind looking at this sucker for two and a quarter years, folks, because the frame and the images are both actually a bit nicer than the SPF3007 we discussed earlier.  And the pricing is makes it an even better value–it’s priced the same (fifty seven dollars) that the SPF3007 is.

I’m impressed with the SPF3407, and if you’re in the market for a great way to show off your digital photos, then you should be too.
