Canon imagePROGRAF iPF6100 Printer

Snapshot%202007-05-11%2012-17-31.jpgCanon recently announced the Canon imagePROGRAF iPF6100, a 24” large-format printer (LFP) which would be ideal for the graphical industry. The iPF6100 boasts of the 12-colour LUCIA ink system and all the latest colour calibration tools which helps in enhancing the functionality. One also comes across a a twin, high-density print head and FINE (Full - photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) technology.

“The accuracy of this new printer is enhanced by Canon’s new colour calibration tool. Where customers run a number of machines side-by-side or with similar content, the colour differences between machines can be easily corrected. Colour accuracy and consistency is essential to the graphic arts market and the imagePROGRAF iPF6100 delivers just this, print after print.” Paul Hinkins, European Marketing Manager, LFP, Canon Europe says. “Also, with Canon’s new next-generation colour management technology, Kyuanos, it offers an ambient light adjustment function. Kyuanos allows the printer to minimize the differences in the way colours appear due to the lighting conditions that posters are displayed in.”
