Dimension 3D Printers Now Available Through Digital China, China's Largest IT Products Distributor

The Dimension 3D Printing Group, a business unit of Stratasys, recently through an announcement informed that its 3D printing systems will now be obtainable through Digital China, China's largest IT products dispenser and IT systems integrator. Both the companies have joined hands to make the distribution of the 3D printer network wider and more effective. According to their agreement Digital China will make Dimension 3D printers available to end-users through its distribution network, its experience centers and also its retail outlets. It is being assumed that the agreement with Digital China comes on the heels of Dimension's recent opening of offices in Tokyo, Japan, in January, and in Shanghai, China, in November of 2006.
"This is a tremendous opportunity for Dimension to partner with a well-respected Chinese company serving China's vast retail market," said Jon Cobb, vice president and general manager of 3D printing for Stratasys. "Making our 3D printing systems available through Digital China increases the visibility of our product and makes purchases more convenient for those in China interested in bringing reliable, office friendly, high-quality 3D printing technology to their design centers. The durable models Dimension 3D printers produce meet the demands manufacturers have for desktop systems that can produce nearly finished parts."
