Kodak is introducing KODAK VERSAMARK VX5000e Printing System an enhanced system giving out image resolution twice that of earlier generations of continuous inkjet print heads. Focusing on the need of the day the high resolution printing system delivers a expensive grouping of best quality full color print, high productivity, and an affordable cost per page. This printing system supports a variety of print formats. The VERSAMARK VX5000e Printing System builds on the established VERSAMARK VX5000 Printing scheme.
It adds enhanced resolution of 300 x 1200 dpi for improved color quality, clearer images and text, plus sharper barcodes. The VX5000e System is built on a modular platform which the user can organize to meet on their needs. With 11 typical configurations, there is an entry point and upgrade path appropriate for each application and future business growth plan.
This system can produce a wide variety of high number applications, including transactional documents, TransPromo documents, direct mail, books, and a variety of print on demand outputs. The VERSAMARK VX5000e is available to the user with the KODAK VERSAMARK CS600 System Controller. The CS600 controller incorporates an enhanced EFI FIERY Digital Front End, facilitating workflow for applications using PPML-GA, PDF or POSTSCRIPT.
The CS600 is based on the FIERY server’s flexible and scaleable architecture and gives out the highest level of performance for making complex documents. This printing system is ideal for mission vital, high speed, business and transactional document production.
