Kyocera America announced their new network color printer recently. The Kyocera FS-C8100DN Color Printer is ideal for business environments and promises functionality and efficiency. The new printer has an output speed of 32 pages-per-minute (ppm) at a vibrant 600x600 dpi resolution in both both color and black and white.

The FS-C8100DN sports the Kyocera’s ECOSYS® Technology which is made up of long-life consumables and thus minimizes maintenance. The printer has been equipped with a standard paper capacity of 1,100-sheets which can be expanded to 4,100 sheets and one can print on a variety of media types including recycled paper, transparencies, cardstock, labels, and envelopes.

Some other features found on this new printer include; 256 MB of print memory (upgradeable to 1GB via 100 Pin DDR DIMMs, 10/100BaseTX and high-speed USB 2.0 interfaces. The FS-C8100DN is available through authorized Kyocera dealers at a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $7,624.
