The Sony DPP-FP90 Photo Printer promises "fuss-free operation" and uses dye sublimation technology for enhanced results. The Sony DPP-FP90 has been equipped with a a extra-large (3.6-inch) screen with adjustable tilt position for comfortable viewing and has a resolution of 230,000 pixels. Thanks to the on board Sony BIONZ processor, the printer can handle high-resolution print files of up to 48 Megapixels.

The Sony DPP-FP90 also boasts of the Auto Fine Print 4 technology which is known to correct white balance as well as overall brightness, hue, contrast, gradation and sharpness just before printing. One also comes across the critically acclaimed Face Detection technology which detects human faces in a scene and adjusts contrast and colour accordingly.

The on board TruFast technology cuts down delivery time to just 45 seconds for a postcard-sized 4x6” print and the printer also supports PictBridge. Direct printing is also possible from a USB flash memory device or connected USB hard disk drive. The DPP-FP90 includes special effects like; Black & White and Sepia plus Paint, Fish-Eye, Cross and partial colour filters.

The Sony DPP-FP90 will be available throughout Europe from May 2007 and would come bundled with Paper tray, AC adaptor, Cleaning cartridge/paper, CD-ROM (Printer driver, Picture Motion Browser).
