Polaroid DVG-1080p Camcorder Review–Small, Smart and Easy to Handle
I don’t see very many pistol grip camcorders–at least, I haven’t yet, or lately–but I can’t help but think it’s a pretty good idea. You just point them right at what you want recorded and then, well, you record it! It’s not exactly rocket surgery, if you get my drift, but it’s a clever idea all the same.
Today we’re talking about the Polaroid DVG-1080p camcorder, a 1080p camcorder with a 4x optical zoom, a 5x digital zoom, built-in speaker, digital camera, expandable flash memory, built-in battery charger, built-in microphone, auto focus, date/time stamp, and compatibility with Secure Digital (SD) Card, Memory Stick Pro Duo Card, Memory Stick, and Memory Stick Duo memory cards.
It’s a well designed piece of hardware–like I said, point and shoot–and though it lacks somewhat in bells and whistles it is one of the least expensive 1080p camcorders you’re going to find. It costs just a hundred and fifty bucks.
So if you need a 1080p camcorder without a lot of bells and whistles and pointlessness, then you’ll probably be just fine with the Polaroid DVG-1080p.
