Folks, I just found a really, REALLY good quality camera that just surprises me half to death.  it’s the Polaroid i1037 camera, and the greatest part about it is that it does nearly everything right.

The Polaroid i1037 is a ten megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom (4x digital zoom), sixteen meg of onboard storage and a 2.7 inch LCD screen for previewing pictures.

Now, you might be wondering why I’m so enthused about such a relatively low end camera–the answer is simple and twofold.

1. They finally figured out how to get a small, portable camera that doesn’t require tiny fingers to make it work.  What they did was they made it a little bit thicker, so that they could increase the size of the buttons.  The device is still small and easy to carry, just not so thin.

2. The price represents an amazing value.  I found one of these on Amazon for eighty five bucks, and that’s a serious bargain.

So all things considered, the Polaroid i1037 represents a great value for sheer efficiency and low price.  That’s too good to pass up.
