Polaroid Is Purchased by Hilco / Gordon Brothers
Like we told you last year, Polaroid has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy again and today the Federal Bankruptcy court for the district of Minnesota has approved the purchase of “all the assets of Polaroid, including the Polaroid brand, intellectual property, inventory and other assets,” by Hilco Consumer Capital and Gordon Brothers Brands. The two companies will most likely develop the Polaroid brand which should be great news for all Polaroid lovers.
