PRETEC Announces World’s First SDXC Card




We have a new card ready for lots of storage. It’s the SDXC card announced by PRETEC. The world’s first SDXC card will not offer the maximum 2TB of storage space. It will only go up to 32GB for now although a 64GB card is going to arrive later this year. The card will only deliver 50Mbps transfer speeds which is nowhere near the maximum 300Mbps speed. The card doesn’t have a price or a ship date yet but since there aren’t that many devices ready to support SDXC cards we won’t mind that, would we?
