Pretec Has New CF Cards For You
Pretec will certainly keep the competition with Sandisk alive. The company launched the 233X 64GB and 100GB CompactFlash cards and the 333X 32GB and 50GB CF cards.
The 233X CF will offer you an access speed of up to 35MB/s and the 333X cards will get you a maximum 50MB/s read and write speed. Both type of cards will come in a metal housing and the 233X CF cards can be used to create a 256FB SATA SSD by simply combining four 64GB cards using the Pretec Q-SATA technology. Not that we’re going to start building our own personal SSD drives by ourselves.
The 233X 64GB will cost about $399 while the 333X 32GB will cost $630 so keep your eyes open if these are the CF you needed for your digital camera.
