Quicker Pictures with Your Digital Camera
Do you miss too many great shots because you have to wait for the digital camera company’s splash screen to clear your viewfinder? Fixing that is not difficult and will enable you to take photographs right away, on your terms. To disable the company logo (why should you have to look at an advertisement every time you use your camera?), go to the camera’s menu or settings feature and look for a “start-up screen” option, then choose not to use it.
If you can’t find such an option, or can’t even find the settings menu, check your camera’s manual. Most digital cameras provide step by step for instructions for setting the options up the way you want them before the first use, but if you are like most people, you probably just take the thing out of the box and start shooting. While there’s nothing wrong with that, you may be surprised to find out you have choices about a lot of features you didn’t even know you had.
