SciTech has launched a new camera keeping in mind scientific usage and low-light, high-dynamic-range applications. The new QImaging Retiga-4000RV CCD digital camera is housed in an all-metal, vacuum-sealed CCD chamber and is perfect for chemiluminescences, live-cell imaging, and fluorescence. As you can see from the fancy words, this one aint for the normal photographer!

The digital camera also features a 4-megapixel CCD, 12-bit digital output, and an IEEE 1394 interface. It has a Firewire connectivity option and it also sports the iGo technology under its hood. The iGo technology lets you view vital information about the camera settings via the Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display.
