KODAK VERSAMARK VT3000 Printing System
Arti Grafiche Editoriali, a primary Italian book printer, has introduced second generation digital printing potential to its trade by introducing in the Kodak’s all new VERSAMARK VT3000 Printing System. This is the first fixing of the KODAK VERSAMARK system which is to be in function for book manufacture in Italy. The KODAK VERSAMARK VT3000 Printing System was installed at A.G.E. in March 2006 and instantaneously started to deliver outstanding results. The company digital print capabilities facilitate jobs to go from their computer straight to the VT3000 system, which has been configured with four 9 inch printheads and roll for processing. This system is a perfect selection for book production. The system works when the two printheads hold printing on one side and two printheads print on the overturn side, giving out 16 page signatures in two colors after which rolls are then unrolled, cut, folded and finally trimmed with the help of a finishing technique that delivers books all set for shipping. The printer’s ability to administer variable data printing has increased profitability to A.G.E.’s book production and to its other operations.
