Ricoh announces CX4 Compact camera

Niche Japanese camera and optics maker Ricoh has announced a new compact camera, tentatively named CX4 Compact. It sports a 1/2.3″, 10 MP image sensor and a 28-300 mm optical zoom lens. With such a small sensor (quite smaller than similar cameras), Ricoh has implemented a new image stabilizing feature, which comes in handy when you consider that the lens starts at a modest f/3.5 at it’s widest. It offers ISO up to 3200, but considering the size of the sensor, expect anything above 400 on this thing to be grainy.
