Ricoh addresses the printing needs of its patrons with the release of two new multi-functional printers for small to medium enterprises. Targeted at small and medium enterprises (SMEs), the Aficio MP C2030 and Aficio MP C2550 are the latest additions to Ricoh’s advanced range of digital office equipment.

Both MFPs have a short warm-up time of less than 25 seconds because of lower toner melting temperature. This reduces energy needed to heat up the toner, thus helping SMEs to save on energy and improve office productivity at the same time.

The MP C2030 is the entry level model in the series and features a 400MHz CPU with fixed memory and standard network interfaces.

The MP C2550 (right and below), on the other hand, is a 25-page per minute printer with a 533MHz CPU that supports additional memory and optional network interfaces.

Both MFPs also have the smallest carbon footprint in their product class. The printers’ standard duplex unit is remarkably slim, and the finisher option, complete with punch unit, is internal – a unique feature. Expandable paper supplies are installed beneath the main unit, without adding to the footprint.

Both printers can also go to the maximum duty cycle, which is up to 40,000 pages per month with short paper paths for fewer paper jams, and have a remote device which monitors the status of these printers in real time.

The MP C2030 and MP C2550 MFPs also have fast first-copy output times, with black-and-white printouts at 6.5 seconds and full-colour pages printout at 9.5 seconds, with expandable paper capacity to a maximum of 1,600 sheets.
