Ricoh Americas Corporation, a renowned leader of digital imaging solutions introduced a new security feature Enhanced Locked Print-Extended Edition (ELP-EX) document security solution. The software has been optimized to protect confidential documents in shared printing environments; ELP-EX now comes with the new proximity card solution for enhanced security. With the proximity card functionality users login automatically by swiping the card directly to the readers directly connected to the Ricoh MFP and easily resume job cache. Furthermore it locks a document to be held at the MFP until the authorized user releases it and only those documents can be viewed which relate to a specific user ID and password while sensitive documents remain hidden.
