Ricoh Americas Corporation, the market leader of digital imaging solutions showcased its new line-up of HotSpot printers. The SP C410DN-KP is a color printer from the series which automates daily printing jobs a Wi-Fi- enabled device present at any location. However, the SP 4100N-KP is another monochrome model from HotSpot. The printers can be easily operated from Internet-enabled laptops, cell phones or handheld devices such as Blackberry.

Ricoh partnered with PrinterOn to integrate PrinterOn’s PrintSpots™ mobile printing software inside the HotSpot for increased functionality. Every hotspot printer has a unique Web page and a distinctive email address to receive requests for printing. The printers follow secure data encryption during data transmission and also include password protection for additional security.
