Rollei Launches Their First Digital Camera For Kids
Today, Rollei announced the upcoming launch of their first digital camera for children called the Kids 100, which is scheduled to make appearances at IFA and Photokina 2010. Interestingly enough, this camera is intended for use by kids at the age of four and up. Furthermore, the digital imaging device sports a orange design and is set to be released this September. It features a Xenon flash and 64MB of internal memory, which supports about 500 pictures. In addition to this, the photographs will be shown in VGA resolution on a 1.5 inch LCD screen located on the rear of the camera. Thus, the Rollei Kids 100 is valued at a suggested price of €59.95. Personally, I have to wonder how committed the company is to ensure that this camera is very user-friendly considering that children are its target audience.
