Samsung unveils a successor to its previous Samsung Digimax V700 with the V800 model. The DIGIMAX V800 provides enhanced functions and performance and goes beyond the limitations of existing digital cameras.

It incorporates a high resolution 2.5 inch LCD with 230,000 pixels so that you can enjoy high quality images when viewing and shooting. The rugged exterior style of the earlier DIGIMAX V700 has been transformed into a softer, more elegant, but equally strong styling for the new DIGIMAX V800.

The new styling gives the DIGIMAX V800 a firm, confident and comfortable feeling at the hands of beginners and professional. The DIGIMAX V800 has a high resolution large LCD that allows you to take pictures while simultaneously viewing previous shots on the screen. The large LCD makes this camera a perfect substitute for a camcorder particularly for users who have a habit of taking videos ever so often.

The interface has been enhanced, focusing on very easy access to the operating buttons and frequently used functions. You can also operate the exposure compensation, white balance, and ISO functions by using the +/- button at the back of the camera. This function is very convenient if you change shooting settings often.
