Samsung has unveiled a new model for its digital camera line, the HZ10W. This new 10-megapixel camera comes loaded with features including a 10x megazoom wide-angle 24mm Schneider lens.
Video capture has also been enhanced, allowing proper pause and resume controls for taking shots in video mode. This helps shooters avoid accumulation of small files that can eat up the space of memory cards.
As far as taking pictures, the HZ10W may need a lot of familiarization before the actual users become accustomed to it. Although these new features allow the shooter to make use of various camera-features like the shutter control, exposure and focus, familiarization on how to use all of them will certainly take some time.
The HZ10W is available in January 2009 with a sub-$300 price tag.

This is one extremely interesting entry from Samsung - on paper.
>> IRL it all comes down to the actual picture quality <<
I’ve read everything I can find about this imminent camera, and
the short commentary on THIS site is the most stupid and useless I’ve seen, hands down.
I’m sure you can do better.
( Well, actually I’m NOT shure, but I want to encourage you to try).
