Samsung Releases The TL500 Camera

Recently, Samsung released a new camera called the TL500 (also known as the EX1). It’s packing ten mega-pixels, a 1/1.7 inch CCD and a 24-72mm 3x zoom lens. But Engadget reports that the TL500′s lens is somewhat lacking in terms of magnification capability and the device doesn’t have 720p video capacity either. However, the camera apparently shined in a recent review with the Photography Blog regarding the quality of its design, controls and the kind of images it can produce. The TL500 does performs well in capturing pictures with its full manual exposure controls. Even though the camera’s actual performance quality doesn’t seem to justify the $449 price tag, it does deliver on its promises overall, according to Engadget.
