Samsung S1050 Digicam
CES 2007 is a dream come true for all us photography buffs , as one saw a number of digicams making an appearance. One such being the Samsung S1050 digital camera which includes a 5x optical zoom and a 3-inch, in addition to shutter speeds of up to 1/2000 sec and ISO of up to 1600.
Housed in a sleek a black casing, the Samsung S1050 is simple yet sophisticated! It has an internal memory of 45MB and accepts Secure Digital (SD) cards of up to 4GB. The digicam can be powered by either AA alkaline batteries or an optional Ni-MH rechargeable battery.
The Samsung S1050 is part of the company’s consumer S-Series and according to Samsung the camera is a “chart topper in both resolution, quality and style.” Other features include image stabilization, Wise shot (camera will take two consecutive pictures in rapid succession with different settings and will allow you to choose the best one), a dedicated effects button, and various shooting modes (Children, Backlight and Portrait). The Samsung S1050 will retail for $349 and will be available for spring of 2007.
