Samsung SL30 Camera Review–Huge Surprise
How does ninety nine dollars for a ten megapixel camera strike you?
Well, that’s what you’ll shell out for a Samsung SL30, a deeply surprising value that brings a 10.2-megapixel resolution, a 3x optical zoom; a 2.5-inch Intelligent LCD screen, digital image stabilization technology, face detection systems, a thirty frame per second VGA movie mode, and compatibility with SD, SDHC, and MMC card.
It’s got a nice layout and loads of options with a smooth and easy zoom in a lightweight package. When you add these all together with the fact that this sucker costs just a meager ninety nine dollars, it’s hard not to be totally enamored with this camera. In fact, about the only thing more you can ask for is onboard memory. However, there does seem to be one problem with this one, especially if you’ve got a longterm use with this–pack extra batteries because it will drain them at a rate that can only be described as prodigious.
Aside from that, this Samsung is an excellent camera with plenty to like about it.
