Samsung SL620B Camera Review–Sharp Learning Curve
Two hundred bucks, ladies and gentlemen, though if you get on Amazon you can get seventy bucks knocked off the price, will get you access to the Samsung SL620B, a camera with some problems but plenty of strengths.
The Samsung SL620B is a twelve megapixel camera with a three inch LCD screen, detectors for face, smile AND blink, forty megs of internal memory, and a 5X stabilized zoom.
This is a pretty nice camera, with more sensors and detectors than the Starship Enterprise and plenty of options. It takes a great picture, make no mistake, but it does have one fairly significant problem going for it–it’s really rather confusing in terms of its button placement. It’s not easy to get used to this camera, and in fact, it’s more than a little tricky to get the hang of.
But once you DO manage to get the hang of the Samsung SL620B, you’ll probably have a good experience with this camera. You’ll take some solid pictures, and you’ll do so inexpensively. But be prepared for that learning curve, and you’ll come out all right.
