It appears that Samsung Techwin is going to split its camera business into a totally new division. This new division will be called Samsung Digital Imaging and it will be the mothership that’s going to launch all Samsung camera-based products beginning February 1, 2009. That’s also the day when the new division will become its own entity. Will that affect future Samsung cameras? We’re certainly hoping that’s not going to happen!
