Samsung to launch new processor for digital frames
Samsung has announced that will start shipping the S5L2010 processors in the near future, which are intended to be used on next-gen digital frames.
The upcoming S5L2010 processors will offer the following features:
- touchscreen interface
- DMB-TV tuner for digital tv on the go
- support playback of MP3, WMA, OGG and ACC for audio
- support playback of MPEG1/2/4, and Xvid for video
- decoding a 57-megapixel JPEG image in 1 second
- support for analog and digital LCDs
- maximum resolution of 1024×768 pixels
- audio department with 2 channels
