Lets Go Digital have reviewed the Samsung GX-1S and they like it for its compatibility with Pentax lenses, its simple design, its viewfinder which is equipped with a dioptre setting and its intuitive interface. What they didn’t like was the in built flash and that hasn’t added an extra mode for continuous or single focusing.

The Samsung GX-1S is a result of collaboration with Pentax and offers a resolution of 6 Mega Pixel. It would be compatible with all Pentax KAF-mount lenses and Schneider's D-Xenon series lenses. The kit includes a a Schneider f/3.5-5.6 18mm-55mm (28mm-84mm, 35mm-equivalent focal length) lens. ISO settings range from 100 to 1600 and controls include, a power switch, a mode selection dial, a an exposure compensation control, and a status LCD. One will be exposed to a whole range of priority and manual modes, auto bracketing, drive modes, adjustable ISOs (from 100 to 1600 in one-stop increments), three metering modes, and RAW format.
