Sanyo Transforms Xacti Into Full HD Surveillance Camera
Sanyo has decided to transform its Xacti 4 megapixel camcorder into a high resolution surveillance camera with full HD resolution.
The VCC-HDN1(S) comes iwth a Sony CMOS sensor capable of 4 megapixel max resolution. The captured videos are resized and then stored into a 2 megapixel 1920 x 1080 resolution. The 10x optical zoom lens will surely come in handy once the camcorder turned surveillance camera is set up. Sanyo will produce about 500 units per month and one of them will cost $3.254. Pretty expensive but your security is probably worth the money!
