Sanyo has released a new Pocket Camcorder named Xacti PD1 that is able to record video content in Full HD with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, and also provides a 10-megapixel sensor in case you want to shoot photos.

The optical zoom is set at 3x and in the connections department there is a Mini-HDMI port and a USB arm which doesn’t require cables in order to e used. Other details of the Sanyo Xacti PD1 include a 2-inch colorful display screen, two microphones to record all the audio, an Easy Upload function that makes it fast to upload videos to YouTube, and videos recorded in MPEG-4 format.

The Sanyo Xacti PD1 will become available in black and red later this month, for $215.
