Today’s camera review is a little on the unusual side, because today, we don’t just have another Sanyo camcorder, but rather, a full Sanyo camcorder kit, complete with a variety of extra components.

We start with the Sanyo Xacti VPCZH1 camcorder, which offers a 30x optical zoom and augmenting 50x digital zoom, a three inch LCD monitor, electronic image stabilizer, nine point autofocus, face detection, two megapixel still photo mode (one megapixel while shooting video), a variety of digital filters, USB, HDMI and composite inputs as well as included editing software.  The kit also includes a one gig Secure Digital card, strap, case and lens cap.

Now, there are downsides here–the image you get is not fully HD.  But still, you get a camcorder with a pretty nice (roughly hundred foot) range and easy to use controls.  Plus, you get a whole array of additional options that really adds to the value.  And given the price, it’s definitely a substantial value at Best Buy’s sale price of a hundred and eighty bucks.

So if you’re looking for a decent, if not top of the line, camcorder with a bunch of extra options, then consider the Sanyo VPCZH1 package.
