Canon U.S.A., Inc unveiled their new economical, compact check scanner, the CR-25 Check Transport. The CR-25 Check Transport is ideal for payroll offices, retailer back-office space, corporate account receivables departments or retail checkout counters as it offers high-quality image capture for reliable and easy electronic check processing.

The scanner includes scanning modes like black-and-white, grayscale or color, at resolutions of up to 300 dpi and is capable of scanning batches of up to 50 checks, automatically routing MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) data, at speeds of up to 25 checks-per-minute (cpm)i. It also features USB connectivity and Silver Bullet Technology, Inc.'s Ranger(tm) Transport API software.
