Motorola CA50 Wireless Scanner
Motorola Inc., today unveiled the new CA50 Industry's First Associate-Level Voice-Enabled Wireless Scanner. The CA50 utilizes Voice Over Internet protocol (VoIP) to transmit voices over the network. The device proves to an efficient solution to abridge communication gaps at places of the concern such as, offices, retail outlets and other multi storey organizations. The device acts actively in curtailing response time by supporting one to one and one to many call flows.
"Motorola's CA50 VoIP-enabled wireless scanner fills a communications void in the task and service-oriented-level environment by equipping all associates with a bar coding, data and voice device," said Bob Sanders, vice president and general manager of Advanced Data Capture, Motorola Enterprise Mobility business.
Motorola innovative CA50 is filled with robust features including wireless LAN, bar code scanning and information retrieval. Motorola is developing a partnership with Avaya to enable CA50 to redirect incoming calls. This will make sure that no important call is missed. The company is also offering a start Advance Exchange maintenance program, a multi-year agreement to ensure product competency which includes device replacement within the next working day if necessary. The program covers wear and tear damage of internal and external parts and accidental damage as well.
The Motorola CA50 Voice enabled Wireless Scanner is expected to hit the market in first quarter of this year.
