Motorola, a renowned name in wireless and broadband communications recently introduced its new rugged Symbol LS3500 series of cordless scanners. Motorola’s this series include two models “LS3578-ER and LS3578-FZ” cordless Bluetooth scanners ideal for warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing environments. Perfect for scan- intensive applications in the most extreme working conditions, Motorola's Symbol LS3500 series of scanners offer advanced performance and dependability for various industrial applications including shipping and receiving, inventory management, asset tracking and forklift applications.
These scanners are sealed to IP65 specifications against water and dust and are able to withstand multiple 6.5 foot drops to concrete, both the LS3578-ER and –FZ scanners features open Bluetooth technology enabling easy integration with other Bluetooth-enabled devices. In addition to all this, Motorola’s Remote Scanner Management technology allows site administrators to immediately locate scanners and push multiple application updates at the same time from a central remote location to lessen management time and costs. Although Motorola has not revealed any detail about the pricing of the product but it is known that the product is currently available through Motorola and its channel partners.
