FCC has approved OPTOELECTRONICS wireless Laser Barcode Scanner OPR-3101 which is a resultant of brainstorming of its technocrats. This wireless scanner has a communication range of almost 10m although it would vary depending on the environmental conditions. Its features include a bi-directional scan method, flash ROM of 4Mbits and baud rate of 115.2kbps. It is backed with a battery support of 25 hours in use. Scanner OPR-3101 is combined with a Bluetooth Ver 2.0. Optoelectronics is yet to reveal the pricing and availability of the product so stay tuned for updates.
