If you need to scan a lot of stuff all the time, this scanU portable scanner is the thing you absolutely need. The device comes with three parts, a screen, a power unit and a storage solution. The display screen is made out of a three-layer roll out scanning bed. The upper and the lower layers are OLED displays which will get you all the light you need for the actual scanning. The central layer has capacitive and photo sensors which will capture the scanned data.

Interested in it? The scanU pocket scanner is just a prototype for now and we have no idea when it will be officially launched.
