Recently, Scarab Labs launched a new version of its Star Filter plug-in for Photoshop to use on Mac computers. In order to run this software, you need an Intel-equipped Mac and Photoshop CS3, CS4 or CS5 and this program replicates cross screen filters (or star filters) optically in real-time in a visually convincing way. The software works with 64-bit versions of Photoshop as well. Star Filter for Mac is available right now for $49.95. If you currently own Star Filter for Windows, then you can get a Version 2.0 upgrade for $10, which has also been released recently. However, the full price for Star Filter 2.0 for Windows is $49.95.
