Schlage LiNK System New Plug-and-Play Cameras
Schlage brand of door locks, has announced that remote monitoring Schlage cameras for its Schlage LiNK remote home-management system are now selling at Lowes.com. The advanced Schlage LiNK System interfaces with different Z-Wave-enabled devices providing a secure Internet connection thus enabling homeowners to grant entry into their home from a computer or most other Web-enabled mobile phones.
“We are extremely pleased to offer owners of the Schlage LiNK System new options for monitoring and controlling their home environment,” said Dwight Gibson, General Manager, Intelligent Residential Electronics, for Ingersoll Rand, the parent company of Schlage. “With our new plug-and-play cameras, on-the-go homeowners will be able to see who is at the front door and monitor areas in and around the home from any remote location. And with our easy-to-install Light Module, they will also be able to remotely control lighting.” The WCW100 wireless model ($179) and the WCE100 wired model ($149) are preprogrammed for plug-and-play integration with the Schlage LiNK System and tie in securely to the Web thru the home’s existing router.
