Recently, Seiko Instruments USA Inc. Thermal Printer Division, introduced its new24-volt Embedded Thermal Printers. The new LTPD and CAPD embedded thermal printers offer a wide range of features including improved reliability and a up to 60 percent reduction in footprint.

Both the new embedded thermal printers offer 2” and 3” print widths along with an EZ-OP clamshell-style paper replacement. These are comparatively smaller models than the previous models and incorporate many space saving features for reducing OEM device size. Both these printers are rated for a minimum of 62.1 miles printed output and 100 million pulses.

Seiko’s new 24V LTPS Embedded Thermal Printer sports a platen redesign for an added durability by eliminating accidental release from external shock. While CAPD Thermal Printer has been reengineered to house the printer and the auto-cutter in a single and rigid assembly.
