Shutterbug Photo Mall Adds iGen4™ Press Service

Shutterbug, best known for offering photo-based services, has improved on its roster of available services by offering the Xerox iGen4 Press. Shutterbug, a photo resource center with an in-house photo lab, is one of the first U.S. companies of its kind to install the Xerox iGen4 press.

“The iGen4 is going to make my business explode,” said Jim Roshan, chief executive officer, The Roshan Group Inc., which owns and operates Shutterbug Photo Mall. “Consumers have digital cameras full of shots that are waiting to be turned into a high-quality photo book, calendar or personalized greeting card. Adding this production capability will greatly extend our product line – and that’s good for business.”

Shutterbug’s worldwide customers, including photographers, photo labs and small to medium size businesses, can submit jobs online via Xerox FreeFlow® Web Services powered by Press-sense. Shutterbug plans to print resort-vacation photo books, school yearbooks, and a host of other photo specialty products on the iGen4 press.

Shutterbug uses Xerox’s FreeFlow Print Server, FreeFlow Process Manager and XMPie software to quickly process customer data and prepare files for printing on the iGen4. The workflow tools save time and money by enabling automation from submission to fulfillment.
