Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 DG OS Lens

70-300mm-F4-5_6-DG-OS Sigma Corporation is pleased to announce its latest 70-300mm F4-5.6 DG OS lens. Housed in a compact construction, it is a telephoto zoom lens that incorporates Sigma’s original OS (Optical Stabiliser) function.

The OS function of the Sigma 70-300mm lens offers shutter speeds approximately 4 stops slower, making telephoto shooting easy for many types of photography. Designed for Sony and Pentax mount, this lens features SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass element provided for excellent correction for all type of aberrations. To provide high contrast images throughout the focal range, reducing flare and ghosting, the lens supports Super Multi-Layer Coating.

The compact Sigma 70-300mm lens has an overall length of 126.5mm, maximum diameter of 76.5mm and weighs just 610g. Further, a minimum focusing distance of 150cm throughout the zoom range and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:3.9 make the lens ideal for close-up photography.
