Sigma DP2 Mid Sized Digital Camera




Sigma recently launched its mid sized digital camera DP2 with f/2.8 41mm lens. The integrated Three-layer Responsive Ultimate Engine offers high processing speed and performance. The 4.80 megapixel camera is a unique combination of flexibility and reliability.

The Foveon X3 image sensor, hot shoe and a popup flash makes the camera a versatile device to fall for. Capture the best looking images using focusing, white balance, automatic or normal exposure and enjoy them on 2.5” LCD display. The 14.1 million photodiodes result in 4.64 megapixel image size.

While the Lithium Ion rechargeable battery keeps the 0.1″ thick camera going for hours, the USB 2.0 adds to the ease of connectivity. The DP2 camera is capable of recording image on SD cards. Sigma is still tightlipped on the price and availability front.
