Sigma Launches The APO 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM Lens In Japan
Recently, Sigma launched the APO 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM lens in Japan. This device is a full-frame telezoom lens that was builit with twenty-two elements from seventeen groups. The lens features a filter thread size of 77mm, iris diaphragm with 9 rounded blades, two FLD (“F” Low Dispersion) glass elements for fluorite glass-like performance and three SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements for great color aberration.
Furthermore, it’s also equipped with a tripod collar and a petal type lens hood. The APO 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM lens weighs 1,430 grams and it’s measured at 86.4mm×197.6mm / 3.4in. × 7.8in. as well. This Sigma lens has a minimum focusing distance of 140cm (55.1in) and it’s compatible with Canon, Nikon, Sigma, Sony and Pentax cameras. However, it is important to note that the Optical Stabilizer (OS) won’t work if the lens is mounted on any film SLR except the Canon EOS-1V.
