11.1x high zoom ratio lens for digital SLR cameras
Sigma recently introduced 11.1x high zoom ratio lens for digital SLR cameras. This high ratio zoom lens includes Sigma’s original Optical Stabilizer function and is solely designed for digital SLR cameras. It acts as a perfect solution at low light conditions. Special Low Dispersion glass and aspherical glass offer excellent correction for all types of aberrations.
Sigma’s new lens has a minimum focusing distance of 45cm all through the entire zoom range and has a maximum magnification of 1:3.9. It also automatically detects movement of the camera and compensate for camera shake when the user shoot moving subjects such as motor sports. It has got a super multi-layer lens coating which reduces flare and ghosting and also produces an optimum color balance.
It is supported with an inner focusing system which provides high performance and convenience. Its non-rotating lens barrel perfectly suits the matched petal-type lens hood and circular polarizing filters. In addition to all this, zoom lock switch machinery is provided to prevent the lens from creeping due to its own weight. Sigma has not revealed the pricing and availability of the product, so those camera lovers who want to owe this lens need to wait till our next updation.
