Sigma -10mm F2.8 EX DC FISHEYE HSM Lens
The Sigma Corporation recently added one more member to its Lens family with the introduction of its new invention the new 10mm F2.8 EX DC FISHEYE HSM lens. Specifically designed to use with digital SLR cameras equipped with APS-C size image sensors this lens is auto focus fisheye lens. The Nikon version lens generates a diagonal angle of view of 180° 154° for Sigma, 167° for Canon.

The best part is that the diagonal field of view of this fisheye lens gives out outstanding images with exaggerated perspective and distortion. The lens employs minimum focusing distance of 13.5cm/5.3inch, and maximum magnification 1:3.3 and thus facilitates subjects to be as close as 1.8cm/0.7inch from the lens’ front element and this helps in close-up photography and also it is feasible to make use of large depth of field that covers extensive variety of subjects.
The lens comes with Integral hood blocks out extraneous light and the Super Multi-Layer Coating which helps in minimizing flare and ghosting and giving out brilliant image quality. This 10mm F2.8 EX DC FISHEYE HSM lens is supplied with a gelatin filter holder at the rear, permitting the usage of gelatin filters. The lens comes in a classic design with dimensions (Diameter x Length) Ø 75.8mm X 83.1mm. To know about the pricing and date of availability of the lens in the market the users need to wait for some more days, till Sigma announces these details.
